Raindance uses multiple telecommunications and ISP vendors, so technical issues at one vendor don't affect Raindance's reliability and service.

Security

Raindance fully understands and supports the ever-growing need for increased security measures and currently maintains three levels of security—physical, data and access control.

• Premises security - Raindance's physical infrastructure is constructed to exceed industry up-time, reliability and security standards. Privately held servers are housed within a secure data center to ensure their safety. Raindance restricts data center entry to selected members of our engineering staff who must pass through biometric, multiple-authentication locks and video monitoring. Our engineers monitor the data center 24/7 for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Data security - Raindance's physical infrastructure is constructed to exceed industry up-time, reliability, and security standards. In addition, the Raindance Web Conferencing Pro applet is Java-based to ensure no impact on files, file structure or operating systems, and an optional SSL/HTTPS environment is available for even greater protection of confidential materials.
• Access control - Raindance assigns each moderator a unique conference ID and PIN required to initiate meetings on the web or phone. To add another layer of security, moderators can create a security passcode unique to each event.

Technical Requirements

Raindance Web Conferencing Pro is easy for moderators to implement and manage, running on most computer platforms with a Java-enabled browser and requiring minimal bandwidth and no additional client downloads or plug-ins.
